Logistics Officer

* Definition of the job: 

Logistics Officer is required to maintain a close cooperation with forwarder company to ensure the flow of goods to right address and on time. He/she plays an important role in finding the best shipping solution but optimize cost as much as possible because saving cost is always top of the most important indicator of import export department. Besides that, his/her responsibility is to ensure the legality of import and export goods with customs documents, master what we should do and what we should avoid doing to minimize risk of penalty from customs violation.

* Position responsibilities:

  • Prepare import/export documentation.
  • Manage material and equipment transfers.
  • Optimize transport routes and costs.
  • Ensure timely issuance of Certificates of Origin.
  • Oversee factory logistics for materials and equipment.
  • Handle transport-related claims.
  • Coordinate customs clearance with brokers.
  • Resolve customs issues and ensure legal compliance.
  • Submit annual customs reports on time.
  • Track non-conformities and support audits.
  • Maintain customs documentation.
  • Coordinate forwarder payments with Finance.
  • Submit monthly logistics and deviation reports.
  • Support tasks assigned by the Procurement & Logistics Supervisor.
  •  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Business Management, International Trade or other related fields
  •  Experience: at least 1 year experiences in similar position
  • Competencies: Transportation Management, Legal & Regulatory Compliance, Customs & Import/Export Management, Risk Management, Supplier Management, Budgeting & Cost Control, QRQC
